In 2012 while stationed overseas, Andy and his wife bought their first home. Although Andy wasn’t there to close on the home in person, a few months later he would touch down in the US and set to work on making this their forever home. On evenings and weekends Andy worked room-by-room; out with the wood paneling and shaggy carpets, in with the higher ceilings and modernized designs. At the time, Andy was also working as a supervisor with Dish network.

Encouraged by the work he did on his new home as well as his family’s moral support, Andy decided to pursue contracting and home remodeling full-time. In 2016, he co-founded Best In Class Remodeling LLC (BICR).

During BICRs first year, Andy was hired locally- mainly- for small handy-man jobs; however, impressed by his work and personality, many customers called him back to do bigger jobs.

From there, word spread very quickly. A contractor that was punctual, on-time, giving fair quotes, and performing perfect work? Andy’s reputation was as solid as the foundation of a well-built house. Since 2015, BICR has continued to grow and contract more and more jobs from year-to-year. Andy has been able to hire two full-time employees and is looking for more. Due to high demand, Andy is typically booking jobs at least six months in advance, which is a testament to the quality of work he does.

In 2018, Andy purchased his first flip house in Bay View where there was a buyer before dry wall was even up. Recently, Andy purchased a lot in West Allis, WI, where he will renovate a store front to become the home of a new bakery and café The Bread Pedalers.
